This was my favourite print we have done since "Cool Kids Say Yes." A main reason behind my fondness of the Crack Rocks design is that the guy holding the sign is my dad.
Back in 2007 dad was visiting me in Bondi and we had the idea of putting him on a T-Shirt. After a few joints we came up with the idea of him wearing my Boston hat (funny cause dads name is Blaze) and holding a sign that read "Crack Rocks".
After he wrote the sign we knew we had another hit on our hands...
We put the picture of him on the back to prove that we actually created this photo... (subliminal diss to you know who...)I am going back up to Byron next week for Splendour and the Afends store opening, I cant wait to see him. (he now lives in the hills of Mullumbimby with his beautiful wife Yoko and my new little bro Yashi)
Yashi, Marco and Blaze. here is a video of my dad talking about how at the age of 62 he was able to have another son... (p.s. he speaks 14 languages fluently)
